The WT641 challenge - That's Sea Worthy
Stamped this darling Unity Mermaid and colored her with copics. Die cut the image and layered on dimensionals. The layer that looks like cheese cloth is not cheese cloth. It is a really old paper that does look like cheese cloth. Die cut some twig leaves and tucked behind the image and finished off with some sequins.

Birthday Boot
IC602 challenge - The amazing Washi Arts Blog - oh the inspiration. I found this wonderful Paper. Audrie you are right I want to grab all my patterned papers and play after visiting this site.
I found this DP with a similar pattern in black and white. This boot also had a similar pattern in the boot and I thought it would look great paired with the paper. To get it to pop I put it on a white CS then added texture on the white CS. Finished off with ribbon, gems and sentiment.
This super boot image is a gift from my sweet SCS friend Tonda Baldwin. Thank you so much Tonda for this boot image, I LOVE it! :)

I was the hostess for the WT640 challenge - The challenge was to Doodle It
I love this image. The computer screen that is visible is an open canvas for your card. You can color it or stamp something on it or in my case I doodled in it for today's challenge Doodle It! The image I doodled is from the computer game Portal. My son wanted me to create a card with that image and I thought well why not put it on the computer screen of this image.
Stamped the image and colored with pencils. Drew the Portal image on the computer screen. The metallic piece is from Sabrina. It is a tomato can and I thought it would be great to see with texture. Ran it through with an EF and layered behind the image.

Lost Pets
| FS540 challenge - The very talented Angie (aka Sunshinesense). I found this wonderful Card. I love the layout with the sentiment in the center. I used a similar layout and added a paw print gem where she had her heart. I needed to make a few sympathy cards for my friend's small pet shop when they lose a fur baby. |
