IC1054 - Anthropology - INSPIRATION
For this card, I was inspired by the patchwork on the beautiful dress and pulled out my stack of one‑inch paper square scraps to create a coordinating patchwork background. Each piece was adhered to white cardstock and then trimmed to fit a 4.25 x 5.5 black card base.
The card is finished with a thank you sentiment on an oval, popped up on dimensionals and layered over a scalloped oval for a clean, classic focal point.
Thank you for stopping by to see my card today. Your thoughtful comments are always appreciated. If you leave a note, a visit to your blog will follow.

Beautiful patchwork design, so pretty. xx
ReplyDeleteBeautifully designed and crafted Lisa, always good to use those pretty scraps that are too good to throw away- especially with a result like this.

Gorgeous card, great choice of papers, the dress must be beautiful too!
ReplyDeleteNot only is it a great way to use up snippets, it's such an eye catching design, I found my eyes first drawn to the yellow, then the ferns and one by one you take in all the patterns as one.
