Scrappy Thanks

IC1054 - Anthropology - INSPIRATION

For this card, I was inspired by the patchwork on the beautiful dress and pulled out my stack of one‑inch paper square scraps to create a coordinating patchwork background. Each piece was adhered to white cardstock and then trimmed to fit a 4.25 x 5.5 black card base.

The card is finished with a thank you sentiment on an oval, popped up on dimensionals and layered over a scalloped oval for a clean, classic focal point.

Thank you for stopping by to see my card today. Your thoughtful comments are always appreciated. If you leave a note, a visit to your blog will follow.

  2. Beautifully designed and crafted Lisa, always good to use those pretty scraps that are too good to throw away- especially with a result like this.

  4. Not only is it a great way to use up snippets, it's such an eye catching design, I found my eyes first drawn to the yellow, then the ferns and one by one you take in all the patterns as one.
