Paint Birthday

FS983 - this week's incredibly talented Featured Stamper is Laura aka stampjournal. I found this INSPIRATION.

I was inspired by the rainbow of crayons and chose to create a rainbow of paint instead. Each paint element is stitched with silver DMC floss, adding a touch of shimmer and texture.

The paintbrush handle is crafted from birch bark collected from a tree on my aunt's property, giving the design a natural and personal touch. The brush itself is popped up on dimensionals for added depth, and the card is finished with a cheerful birthday sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card today. I appreciate the lovely comments. If you leave me a comment, I can stop by your blog for a visit.

  3. How beautifully you have combined all the elements together, stitching on the paint blocks and so imaginative to use some real tree bark to create the paintbrush.

  5. Dear Lisa, this is an amazing card! It didn't look like a card initially to me, which makes it all the more special!
