SC1092 - This week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com
For today’s card, I reached for a favorite retired set from Heartfelt Creations. I stamped the flowers, sponged color into the centers, then shaped them and added popped‑up centers for extra dimension.
The birthday sentiment is from Karen Burniston, cut from green and yellow cardstock. Those same colors were mirrored as accent layers beneath the designer paper to tie the palette together.
To highlight the milestone, I die cut the number 80 several times from white cardstock, topping it with a bold red glitter layer. The finished number was then mounted on white and green layers for added depth.
I completed the design with the birthday sentiment popped up on dimensionals and a few stamped buttons, also shaped and raised, to bring playful texture and balance to the card.

A beautiful, bright and cheerful birthday card Lisa, love those pretty , colourful, layered flowers and the wonderful dimension, perfect for that milestone birthday xx

ReplyDeleteA delightful rainbow of colour on your extremely pretty card Lisa, each element has it's own point of interest. You use of the Heartfelt flowers prompt me to dig out mine that have not been used for far too long.
