WT822 - Song Inspired
Every year my sister asks for school bus cards for Christmas. This year I added this fun elf driving the bus, I cut the layers to the bus and shaped them. Then added dimensionals and white gel pen to add to the bus.
I finished with the sentiment and some snow flakes from my desk.MMTPT646 - up-lifting cards
This was super quick stamped the plane, popped up on dimensionals and added the map layer. Finished off with the sentiment.CC821 - Pumpkin Pie, Silver, Bermuda Bay
I am trying to get caught up on some cards for the pet shop and today's colors are perfect for a couple of congratulations cards.
I stamped 2 different dogs and masked them. Next I sponged the wall and floor with 2 of the colors. I removed the mask and colored the dogs.CAS615 - Sweater
CCC20DEC - Anything Goes
I love all the fun sweaters at Christmas and when I saw this tree from DRS Designs I just had to make a sweater card.
I stamped the tree on white and colored it with copics then fussy cut it.
Next I used some of the punched snowflakes from my desk and then embossed the red with the snowflakes and tree. I trimmed the sweater with some crimped red and added some pearls.
FS722 - This weeks incredibly talented Featured Stamper is Gayle aka gl1253. I love her wonderful gallery. This CARD inspired me today
My brother is a manager at a local mom and pop trucking company. Their staff has been super busy during the pandemic and the company wanted to reward their drivers for going above and beyond. My brother asked if I could make 20 thank you cards and the only thing he requested is they be neutral as most of the drivers are guys. Gayle's card was perfect inspiration.
I found a paper pad of black and white prints and cut down the pad for the cards. I liked the white strip across the front of Gayle's card so I kept that and added the sentiment From DRS Designs to that strip. 20 cards done in less than an hour perfect for my brother's co-workers.

I did copic coloring and used the flicking technique to color the hair and hey on this cute image.
Printed the image and colored with copics. Cut the layers and glued.

DEC20VSNB - Window card featuring hearts
The card base was sponged in the colors of the rainbow. Then I cut paws out across the black layer creating a window to the rainbow base. I finished with the sentiment banner and a punched red heart and stickles.

DEC20VSND - helping hands
My helping hands are a band needing each member to help play the music
I masked the base layer with a circle then sponged yellow, orange and grey to get the spotlight feel to the card.
Once the background was created I added this great die cut from Anne (jdmommy).

I followed the directions for the Cake Box found HERE. The flower was in my stash of items to use up and worked great with this DP and the lace was on my desk waiting to be used.

I think your ugly sweater card is quite beautiful. I love how you did the v-neck design and the Christmas tree looks like it is behind the design on the card. Great idea with all of the snowflakes. Love the men's suit too. Wonderful masculine card. Excellent coloring as always. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Sally. I do love how that sweater card came out. It has some great texture and it is super fun.
DeleteThe tie on the mens suit is made with reinkers and shaving cream. It smells amazing!
