Week of 7/1/18

FS595 - Congratulations to Cheiron Brandon on being our Featured Stamper this week! I love your stunning gallery. I found this fantastic Card.

I die cut out the heart rather than stamping it and added DP. Popped the top layer on dimensionals and die cut the work LOVE from the Heartfelt Creations die cuts and popped the letters on dimensionals that are over the heart. Finished off with the sentiment and some tiny hearts.

Anniversary Love
 MMTPT519 - A Manly Tea Party

Masked off the left side of the card. Stamped and masked the deer. Masked the bottom of the card. Sponged orange, yellow and pink. Pulled masked edge and masked deer off and colored the deer with copics and stamped the trees and sentiment.

This stamp set is an old Stampendous Christmas set and I am stretching the use of it to make a great masculine CAS card. I love finding new ways to use stamps.

 WT694 - Coronation Day

Stamped the Stampendous kitty and colored with colored pencil. The tiara was sent to me in a teapot Tuesday exchange and I thought this yellow kitty needed to wear it.

The sentiment is computer generated. My friend that gave me a yellow kitty will be getting this for Christmas this year. I give him a yellow kitty card every year for Christmas and this is so perfect. The inside is going to say, "Thank you for giving me to a family that understands". LOL!

Princess Kitty
IC656 - today is Serengeti Fashions where I found this stunning TOP.

I loved the black and silver and that is what I based my card on. Used two different DPs and layered. Added some punched trim. Heat embossed the sentiment and the hearts and layered and finished off with the ribbon.

I think this makes a great guy anniversary card for my DH.

Week of June 10th Cards

 MMTPT516 - Frame It

This darling Heggie was sent to me in a teaparty exchange. I colored him with pencils and sponged in the clouds and grass. The frame was also sent to me and it was ivory so I sprayed it with black spray and then found it would not dry so I used modge podge and got it to stick to the frame. Finished off with a heart sentiment and some hearts sitting on my desk.

Heggie Birthday Love

 WT692 - World of Sponges

Printed The Paper Shelter image and colored with copics. Sponged in the BG. Die cut the sentiment 3 times in white and layered the gold die cut sentiment on top. Layered the image on dimensionals and die cut some music notes. Finished with the bow tied ribbon.

This card was made for my son's band director who was to retire this year. Well I guess he likes teaching because he is staying another year. So I guess I will hold this card for when he does retire. And even though their show last year was about the brick wall this will still be perfect for his card because every year he tells the kids the brick wall and the importance of each brick and how it holds up the wall. If you want to hear about the Brick Wall and the story behind it you can learn about it on YouTube here: Brick Wall

Retirement Congratulations

IC654 - we are going to the Vera Bradley store online to be inspired where I found this Planner.

I loved the row of boxes and the colors. I did one in blue and one in purple for 2 different graduates. Added a row of boxes with the year and die cut the congratulations for the sentiment.

Week of June 3rd Cards

FS591 - the incredibly talented Janja {aka Janja Albreht}. I found this Card . The name said it all and I went with it.

I used a lighter lavender. When I saw the name of the card I thought of these giant leather flowers my mom gave me about 10 years ago. I am trying to use stuff up and these needed to be used.

Cut down the layers and stamped the sentiment. Finished off with adding the leather flowers. Quick cards and totally uses up some of these large flowers taking up space in my craft room.

Grabbed this leather butterfly, cut down the layers and added rick rack and edged the DP. Finished off with the birthday celebration.
