Happy Retirement

WT1037 - Let's Go Fishing

USEIT2025 - Ephemera Image

I needed to use up this cute image from my tote. The entire image was just a bit big for the A2 card size, so I cut down the rod, at the hand and tucked it back in behind his hands. I also trimmed off the platform. The additional trimming was perfect to fit the scene on the card front.

It was layered on a designer paper and kraft card stock then I stamped the sentiment and popped it up on dimensionals.

Happy Valentines Day

SC1046 - This week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For my card, I pulled out my heart die cuts and die cut in both white and pink designer paper. The white layers were embossed with a small heart emboss folder. I then die cut the red glitter paper and layered all the pieces. I finished the card with the sentiment stretched through the card and a few scattered sequins.

Scrappy Hearts Thinking of You

MMTPT861 - No Pink or Red Hearts

For my card, I used a really great technique that I learned more than 5 years ago. The technique uses die cuts but for my card, I used punched hearts. I layered them 5 high gluing each layer. Next, I used my score tool to score lines on white card stock. I then laid out the hearts on the card front.

Once the glue was dry, I used a royal blue acrylic paint for the first layer. I then used watered down white and ran that over the top of the hearts. Finally, once that layer was dry, I spritzed some tea stain that has a shimmer to it. You can't see the shimmer in this photo, but it is there on the card.

The card was finished with the sentiment popped up on dimensionals.

Furever in Your Heart

CAS830 - Monochromatic

For my card, I used my dog stencils to create a few more pet donation cards. These are great for quick and beautiful CAS donation cards.

On this card, I stenciled in brown the poodle and then stamped with a chocolate brown the My Favorite Things sentiment.

Be Mine

FS937 - This week's incredibly talented Featured stamper is Sue. Here is my INSPIRATION.

USEIT2025 - Wood Hearts

I was inspired by the plaid on Sue's card and pulled out a scrap of pink plaid paper. My MIL gave me an envelope punch board for Christmas and I just had to try it. I love it so much and hope to use it on more cards in the future.

Once the envelope was created, I tucked a few hearts in it including a couple of wood embellishments that are in my tote to use up.

I then stamped the sentiment from Pink and Main on the top of the envelope.

Birthday Rose

IC998 - Weston Table - INSPIRATION

For my card, I pulled out this great die cut from Altenew and die cut the layers from various shades of reds and pinks.

Next, I created center fold card front then layered the panels finishing with the die cut rose and the birthday sentiment.

Stitched Birthday Cake

WT1036 - National Fig Newton Day - feature cookies (or other sweet treat) in your card

For my sweet treat, I used My Favorite Things die cut to create the tag and stitched a birthday cake with candles on the tag. I then added a bit of ribbon and a few scattered sequins and finished with the sentiment popped up on dimensionals.
