Christmas Kitty

WT823 - Fancy Fold

I am still working on Graduation cards for next year. I have 3 family members graduating including my one and only and several family members asking for cards.

This was super quick I used my cricut to cut the graduates. I then did an Easel fold and added some fancy gold and white paper so the card has all the school colors.

Congratulations Grad

SC832 - Today's sketch

USEIT2020 - Disney Stickers

My BFF was over a while ago and had me cut some papers for her and she wanted to know if I could do an Epcot globe. Well sure! But then it ended up sitting on my desk unused. When I saw today's sketch it was perfect to use it up.

I grabbed some old Disney stickers from my stash and added them to the dome.

Mickey Mouse

MMTPT647 - Rhode Island symbol

I used the maple leaf from DRS Designs and did an emboss resist on the background with red ink. I then stamped the sentiment, die cut the banner and finished with some flowers and leaves from my desk.

CC822 - Magenta Madness, Granny Apple Green, Basic Black

USEIT2020 - Heartfelt Creations card kit

When I saw today's colors I remembered this old Heartfelt Creations card kit that I need to get put together and used up.

I colored the flowers and sponged the edges of the paper layers. Added the layers and added stickles. Shaped the flowers and added the flowers and leaves.

Beautiful Day

CAS616 - Falling snowflakes

This card came together really quickly.

I stamped the background with the DRS Designs Snowflakes background with Versamark then I used perfect pearls over them. It really shimmers.

I then stamped the sentiment and popped it up on dimensionals.

Beauty of the Season

FS723 - today's amazing featured stamper is Kath (kathinwesthill). Her gallery is incredible. I found this CARD.

I have 3 family members graduating in 2021 including my one and only.

I loved the paper BG stamp but don't own that so I used a paper emboss folder. I also did not own any of the images so I die cut the mortar and die cut the congratulations and punched some stars in place of the hearts.

I added Nuvo Drops to the button on the mortar and the congratulations so they shine and I left the mortar in the die and added some shading with sponging.

Congrats

DEC20VSNN - Sketch

Heat embossed the sentiment, used some scrap DPs from my stash and layered.

Masculine Birthday

DEC20VSNM - comforts of home (My comforts of home is my kitties. I can work with them in my office)

These cats were in my tote of items to use up. I stamped the birthday sentiment and embossed the white layer and added the bakers twine. Literally 5 minute cards.

Oh My Kitty

USEIT2020 - Sun Patch

This card was fun to make grabbing this sun out of my tote of items to make and using the warm colors challenge I just layered this card using items off my desk. The bow is made of ribbon that was in my stash of items to use up and the papers are all scraps.

Congrats Pup

DEC20VSNG - Light and shadow

I stamped the two elephants and balloon and colored with copics.

CAS615 - Sweater

CCC20DEC - Anything Goes

I love all the fun sweaters at Christmas and when I saw this tree from DRS Designs I just had to make a sweater card.

I stamped the tree on white and colored it with copics then fussy cut it.

Next I used some of the punched snowflakes from my desk and then embossed the red with the snowflakes and tree. I trimmed the sweater with some crimped red and added some pearls.

Ugly Sweater

FS722 - This weeks incredibly talented Featured Stamper is Gayle aka gl1253. I love her wonderful gallery. This CARD inspired me today

My brother is a manager at a local mom and pop trucking company. Their staff has been super busy during the pandemic and the company wanted to reward their drivers for going above and beyond. My brother asked if I could make 20 thank you cards and the only thing he requested is they be neutral as most of the drivers are guys. Gayle's card was perfect inspiration.

I found a paper pad of black and white prints and cut down the pad for the cards. I liked the white strip across the front of Gayle's card so I kept that and added the sentiment From DRS Designs to that strip. 20 cards done in less than an hour perfect for my brother's co-workers.

DEC20VSNA - alcohol

I did copic coloring and used the flicking technique to color the hair and hey on this cute image.

Printed the image and colored with copics. Cut the layers and glued.

Peace on Earth
DEC20VSNB - Window card featuring hearts

The card base was sponged in the colors of the rainbow. Then I cut paws out across the black layer creating a window to the rainbow base. I finished with the sentiment banner and a punched red heart and stickles.

I heat embossed leaves from a Heartfelt Creations set and water colored them. Heat embossed the sentiment and popped the panel on dimensionals.

DEC20VSND - helping hands

My helping hands are a band needing each member to help play the music

Once the background was created I added this great die cut from Anne (jdmommy).

WT821 - Over the Top

This image was in my stack of images that have been sent to me over the years. I am working my way through that stack trying to color them up and get them on cards.

FS721 - this weeks incredibly gifted Featured Stamper is Melissa aka javagirl984. Her gallery will inspire so much creativity. I found this super cute Card.

I love the wonderful floral base on her card. I took off the bird and ribbon. For my card I stamped the flowers a few times from DRS Designs and colored with copics in pinks. I then stamped the sentiment and added gems rather than brads.

Love & Laughter

F4A563 - Bring Out The Old

USEIT2020 - Green die cut layers

CCC20DEC - Anything goes

This Heartfelt Creations candle is one of my oldest images from their collections. These two were actually stamped and sent to me and in my pile of images that I hope to get many used up next year as the pile is really quite large.

The green layers were in my tote of items to use up. They were actually larger than the image so I cut out the center section and pieced them back together behind the candle image.

I matted with DP and added poinsettias and pearls. The image and poinsettias are finished off with stickles.

Candle
MIX410 - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

USEIT2020 - Beer Wrapper

My DH wanted to know if I could use the wrappers from his beer cans on a card. Of course! He has been taking them off cans for a while and I had 6 of them in my craft room for a very long time. Time to get them used up!

I cut down the wrappers and layered on black CS. I die cut the dragons, shaped them and added a metallic rub on to the dragons adding dimensions to the dragons. I then die cut a couple of yellow circles and added dimensionals to the top circle and sponged the edge of the circles with yellow ink to add interest to them.

I stamped Happy birthday and happy anniversary to the cards so I could use them for a few occasions.

Dragons & Beer

CC820 - gorgeous grape, highland heather, balmy blue

USEIT2020 - Heartfelt Creations card kit

I am trying to use up the last of the Heartfelt Creations card kits I have in my stash and this one is perfect for today's colors.

I sponged the edge of the layers and glued down. Next I colored the images with copics and layered adding some shaping and dimensionals.

The card was finished off with stickles.

Celebrate
IC783 - JRL Interiors where I found this great Wood Panel

When I think of getting a new home I think of all the projects that go in to a new home. My last house before we moved in we had to strip all the wood floors and restain them. What a job that was to do an entire house that was all wood floors.

For this card I stamped the Kraft layer with the DRS Wood Grain stamp and then embossed it with a wood emboss folder.

I stamped the Just Moved key and colored it with copics.

I cut the layers and found this measuring tape, washi tape and added it with a few flowers.

USEIT2020 - Tree

This image was on my table to be used and I just needed to add the pool party to the card to meet today's colors. I found this already done wax resist and added it to the card. Additionally I needed to use up this die cut tree from my tote of items so I added it and put it on dimensionals. Since the card base I had was less than 4.25 x 5.5 I was able to use the image and have it hang over the top of the card.

Merry Christmoose

WT820 - tags - gift tags for Christmas or any other tag idea

USEIT2020 - While going through my tote of items I am trying to use up this year I came across all of these die cut papers and they were too small for a full size card so I added them to this tag and added dimensionals.
