Moonlit Glow

CAS872 - Glow of the Autumn Moon

For my card, I sponged a yellow moon glow using Distress Oxide ink, then blended blue around it to create a soft night sky effect. Once the background was complete, I stamped a Stampin' Up image over the panel.

The panel was trimmed down, layered onto black cardstock, and popped up on dimensionals for added depth.

To finish, I heat embossed the sentiment in silver embossing powder for a touch of shine.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card today. I appreciate the lovely comments. If you leave me a comment, I can stop by your blog for a visit.

  10. The song "A Nightingale Sang In Berkleley Square" came to mind when I saw your Moonlight card. There's so much to love in your subtle use of color, paired with a detailed image of sweet birds make this such a Wow card.
