80th Birthday

FS967 - this week's incredibly talented Featured Stamper Lee Mae, is better known around here as adopted2. Here is my INSPIRATION.

For my card, I used this great die cut set from Honey Bee Stamps. The flowers and leaves were cut out of white and colors were sponged on. Once colored the flowers were shaped and layered and glued together.

The textured white layer is handmade paper and then the 80 and the birthday sentiment were cut several times out of white to add dimension then the gold was added to the top.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card today. I appreciate the lovely comments. If you leave me a comment, I can stop by your blog for a visit.

  8. The soft sponging in pink makes for such a realistic Hydrangea and the veining detail on the leaves likewise. Such beautiful flowers which sadly have not had a good season here in the UK.
