IC1015 - Coral and Tusk - INSPIRATION
For my card, I cut out this cute Simon Says dog die cut from two different browns. I then layered on this stitched frame using more of the floss from the back of my craft chair that I am trying to use up.
The dog is popped up on dimensionals as well as the birthday sentiment and then the frame is layered on a fun designer paper that uses colors found in the floss.
This will be another of my pet donation cards.
Thank you for stopping by to check out my card today. I appreciate the lovely comments. If you leave me a comment, I can stop by your blog for a visit.

Your embroidered card elements certainly are different Lisa, such rich colours for this one to compliment the back DP's.

How adorable is this die cut pug! Love your stitched border details so much!
ReplyDeleteWow, Lisa, getting the floss through each of those little holes must have taken some time, but it adds so much more color to the card and really helps to focus out attention on the pup. Did you tie them altogether with the floss or add each one? Just curious. Spectacular card created with such care. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Aracelli for your sweet comment. To hold the floss in place, I just use a small piece of tape on the back. It is much quicker to tape it down than to tie to the next piece.
Deleteo this is so cute beautiful card Lisa..........gr karin
