Military Birthday

WT1054 - Use DP and take it up a notch

My good friend Polly who passed earlier this year is the inspiration for my designer paper layer. She would take designer paper, tear it then add inking to the edges and create the base layer for her card.

Once the base layer was created on my card, I added bakers twine and this Whipper Snapper image colored with copics. The card was finished with a few glitter stars and the birthday sentiment popped up on dimensionals.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card today. I appreciate the lovely comments. If you leave me a comment, I can stop by your blog for a visit.

  6. Hi Lisa
This is great ... ... love the background inspired by your late friend Polly. Might have to try that myself as I have lots of paper scraps/snippets that need using up. Thank you (and Polly) for the inspiration.
    Fun image too.
    Love and hugs
