F4A816 - Fabric
For my card, I used black lace beneath the embossed layer to incorporate fabric into the design.
I added torn and curled edges to the embossed layer for texture, then adhered it to a black card base with the lace peeking out from underneath.
Next, I stamped Heartfelt Creations flowers and leaves onto black cardstock using Versamark ink, then heat embossed them in black for a subtle, dimensional effect. After cutting and shaping the layers, I assembled them to create depth and movement.
To finish the card, I added a silver "Best Wishes" tag.
This card is headed to my son and his fiancĂ©e, who are getting married soon. They both love gothic style and have asked guests to dress as if attending a funeral—how delightfully dramatic! I adore their sense of fun and feel this card suits them perfectly.
Thank you so much for stopping by to see my card today. I truly appreciate your kind comments. If you leave me a note, I’d love to visit your blog in return.
