Santa Scene

SC1082 - this week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For this card, I created the background using a blend of several Distress Oxide inks. Once the layers were built up, I lightly sprayed the surface with water and blotted it with a paper towel to lift some of the ink—creating a soft, starry night effect.

With the background complete, I added the silhouette die cut from Gina Marie Designs of Santa and the boy, placing the stamped sentiment just below to anchor the scene. To finish the card, I scattered a few gems for a touch of sparkle.

Just a Coffee Note

CAS866 - Coffee

I love coffee. It is my go-to drink. I started by pulling out a Penny Black die cut and layering the pieces to give the coffee cup dimension. It was placed on a soft pink circle for a gentle pop of color. A pink ribbon was tied around the chevron-embossed background to add texture and a sweet finishing touch.

The sentiment was stamped directly onto the coffee cup, keeping the design clean and focused. To complete the card, I scattered a few candy dots for a playful accent.

Happy 21st

FS973 - this week's incredibly talented Featured Stamper Loni also known around here as holt3448. I found this INSPIRATION.

I was inspired by all the gorgeous purples in the beautiful card Loni created and used that as my starting point. For my project, I made a Pop-Up Box card following this TUTORIAL. On the front, I featured a Stampin Up image paired with a coordinating sentiment. Each side of the box is covered with purple gingham paper, accented with hearts and balloons for extra charm.

Inside the pop-up, I carried the heart and balloon theme through the elements, adding sparkling stars cut from glitter paper for a touch of shine. To finish, the back panel showcases a large heart along with a sentiment from Waffle Flower, tying everything together with a sweet and celebratory feel.

Here is the Pop-Up Box card folded flat for easy mailing. I decorated this panel with a large heart and added “21” balloons to mark the special milestone, finishing them off with ribbon tied to the balloons for an extra festive touch. It’s such a fun way to keep the design celebratory while still being practical to send through the mail.

As You Like It - Favorite Die and Why - For me, I am so thrilled when I get asked to make a very special card for someone to give with hearts. I love putting this die cut heart on cards. The stitching adds to the die cut to really step up a card.

Garden Birthday

IC1034 - Terrain & Pinterest - INSPIRATION

For my card, I used some yellow designer paper cut out The Greetery Garden Gear Gloves and added some grey to the edges with a copic marker.

The gloves are layered on grey cardstock and popped up on dimensionals.

The designer paper under the grey cardstock is handmade paper my MIL gave me for Christmas and has some wonderful colors that I highlighted on the card using the colors on the gloves and sequins.

Birthday Pup

SC1081 - this week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For my card, I pulled out this cute Hunkydory image and used an out of the box cut by snipping around his paws then using a circle die cut for the rest of the image.

The image is layered on a scalloped brown and then a couple of scrap layers are added to finish the layout.

The card was finished with the birthday sentiment popped up on dimensionals, a few scattered hearts and a ribbon.
