Your Friendship...

IC1019 - April Cornell - INSPIRATION

When I saw the tablecloth on the site, I grabbed this image (it is a freebee with purchase from Honeybee Stamps). I colored it up in similar colors then added it to a card base.

Rose Birthday

WT1057 - Roses

For my card, I pulled out this rose die cut that has been in my stash for a very long time and never been used. I have been working on organizing all my die cuts so I can quickly find them and use them more often and this challenge was perfect to use this one.

It was die cut out of red, layered on white then layered on the red and white designer paper.

The card was finished with a few scattered gems and the birthday sentiment popped up on dimensionals.

USEIT2025 - Glasses & Button

For my card, I pulled out this fun retired stamp set from Spellbinders stamping them in black then added a black frame layer.

Next, a couple of flag banners were cut then the card layout was created finishing the card with the glasses brad and button on the banners.

Thank You Berry Much

IC1018 - The French Tangerine - INSPIRATION

USEIT2025 - Fleu de lis

I was immediately inspired by the blue and white dish on the page as soon as I opened the link and just had to do a blue and white card.

I pulled out a couple of different designer paper, created the layout then die cut the pieces from a Papertrey Ink die set to create the pie.

To sperate the designer paper layers, I added a blue fabric strip.

The pie was finished with a few stickles and the card was finished with the thank you banner popped up on dimensionals.

The banner element was from my tote of items I am trying to use up.

Monster Birthday

WT1056 - Monsters

I love Halloween themed craft goodies but rarely get a chance to use them. I learned last year that my son's girlfriend loves Halloween and said I could send her Halloween themed birthday cards! Win-Win!!!!

For my card, I used several Spellbinders die cuts to create the scene and added sponging to color up the pieces. Several places were highlighted with a white gel pen and the scene was layered on a glitter paper.

The birthday sentiment was popped up on dimensionals as well as a few other elements in the scene.

Birthday Butterfly

SC1065 - this week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For my card, I used some scrap paper from my designer paper stash to create the strips. I then used a stitched butterfly using up more of the DMC floss from the back of my craft chair.

The butterfly and sentiment were popped up on dimensionals and the card was finished with a few mirror candy dots.
