Burlap Birthday

IC1005 - Raixy and Pinterest - Inspiration

I was inspired by the colors of the dress and the accessories. I used burlap for the card base then added the die cut from Memory Box and finished with the sentiment popped up on dimensionals and a few scattered pearls.

Animal Birthday

F4A785 - Patterned Paper

For my card, I pulled out some fun patterned paper that is perfect for a fun animal birthday card. I used an old calendar for the images and added a fun die cut hat using die cuts from Jaded Blossom.

The card was finished with the sentiment popped up on dimensionals and a few scattered candy dots.

This will be another of my pet donation cards.

Pop Up Box Graduation

WT1043 - Pop-Up Box

I have wanted to make one of these cards for a very long time. For my card, I created the box layer using this tutorial: Pop-Up Box Card Tutorial - Splitcoaststampers.

The caps on the card are stenciled using black distress ink. I then die cut several balloons, the congratulations and the bird using dies from Spellbinders, Honey Bee Stamps, Memory Box, Jaded Blossom and Karen Burniston.

The stars are punched from gold and all of the pieces are added using acetate. Tied to the balloons is some red and white bakers twine. I made sure when I fold the bird in first that it closes so that the black card front is the only thing that shows. Truely this is a really fun card to make. On the back I added a white card stock for the user to add a personal message.

Mountain Birthday

SC1052 - this week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For my card, I used this great stencil from Honey Bee Stamps. I first embossed the card front with the embossing folder. Next, I pulled out several colors to create the scene with the great stencils in the kit.

The card was finished with the birthday sentiment popped up on dimensionals.

Football Thinking of You

MMTPT867 - Football

For my card, I used this great Spellbinders die cut set and cut it out of the team colors for our destination station this week. I added a layer of blue and white plaid and a piece of designer paper that looks like notebook paper stamped with the sentiment on the paper.
