When I think of summer I think of all the beautiful butterflies. The butterfly image was in my stack of images to use up and the wire butterfly was in my tote of items to use up.

CAS645 - You’re a Star (include stars) CCC21JUL - Peace I am trying to get my Christmas cards made early this year. It seems to sneak up on me quickly and I have a lot to get made. This was super quick to use this nativity scene and heat emboss it in white on red card stock. Layered on white then a red card base. Nativity

FS752 - This weeks incredibly talented Featured Stamper is Rae aka RaeBobcat who has an amazing gallery full of inspiration. I found this wonderful Card.

USEIT2021 - Cat Paper Clips

I needed to use up these cat paper clips from my tote of items and Rae had that wonderful heart for inspiration.

Rather than stamping on the heart I used a paper clip. Then I used designer paper for the base and added a couple of additional hearts around the sentiment.

I made 10 of these and they are perfect for cards for my donations that I need to get caught up on for the little shop.

Birthday Poppies

 

IC813 - Afloral where I found this gprgeous Poppy Arrangement I die cut the card base with a decorative die and layered with the birthday sentiment. Next I stamped a few poppies and colored and shaped them and layered on the card. Finished the poppies with stickles and prills. Birthday Poppies

Red, White & Blue Birthday

 

F4A593 - Red, White & Blie MIX440 - Stars and Stripes I needed to make a red, white and blue quilt birthday card for my MIL's friend. Her birthday is 7/4 and she loves patriotic colors. I grabbed a bunch of my red, white and blue papers and created this layout with the different papers. Stamped the birthday sentiment and then added dash marks with a black marker and white gel pen. I love making scrappy cards and love when I can find papers to work with 2 challenges. Don't see the stars? They are in the floral print.  Red, White & Blue Birthday

WT851 - Use Water in some way

I have a stack of strips of water color paper and thought it would be a great rainbow edge for some pet sympathy cards.

I used distress inks and added water to a paint brush and brushed on the color.

Once dry I added the paw prints and the black card stock to trim the edge and finished with the sentiment.

Quilt Birthday

 

CC850 - Pale Papaya, Magenta Madness, Shaded Spruce & Gold Accents

I used a quilt die cut and the colors for this week to create a few quilt birthday cards. My MIL is a quilter and has a few quilt friends that she sends birthday cards to and I needed to finish a few cards for her friends. These colors are perfect for gorgeous quilt cards.

I layered the quilt on a mirror gold paper and finished with the birthday banner.
