There is still time to sign up for the give away. Please see the post in the upper right corner of my blog. I will be announcing the name on February 1st.
Today's Featured Stamper challenge is the brilliant gallery of snowqueen. I love so many wonderful creations in her gallery. I found this beauty: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&ppuser=118730
and love the simplicity of the card. I am finishing up the cards for my
nieces Valentines for her class and this design was perfect.
Rather than adding layers to the oval I die cut out the oval on my owls.
Then added embossing around the opening. Finished off with a couple of
green duck embellishments. For the bottom two I left the ovals out and
just embossed the layers with different embossed hearts as Carolyn had
used hearts on her card.

Thankful Dog
Wonderful inspiration challenge today at I found this fun t-shirt Image. It made me think of this fun dog from Tim Holtz.
Colored the dog with copics. Then I grabbed my stash of scrap papers and found all these fun patterned papers that all seemed to coordinate. Mounted them on a brown CS and added a sentiment and a punched leaf.
Copics used: C0, C3, C5, C7, C9, R20, R24, R29 & R32

Super fun challenge on SCS. We went Down Under
Did the Smack & Squirt technique that Miss Susie (susie australia) refers to on her cards. I finally got it to work. Thank you Miss Susie for all your help. It finally worked. Once dry I stamped leaves over the BG. Added the DP and ribbon stamped the image and mounted. Finished off with some 3D leaves, flowers and bird.

Cut down the scraps I had to do a very similar layout. Added texture to them and mounted the pieces. Added dimensionals to the Green Duck embellishment and finished off with homemade candy dots.
Bear Thanks

Die cut the snowflake and mounted. Added a sentiment on a punched ornament and added an additional snowflake and gem on the ornament.
CCC17FEB is adding people on our cards. I thought this wonderful Green Duck embellishment was perfect to add to my card. I added a gem to his ornament as well. Working on my Christmas cards for 2017 as I was way behind last year.

Quilted 4 You!
Today's Featured Stamper Twila Davis aka tjdstampsalot has a fantastic gallery. I found these GEMS!
I loved the wonderful use of all the different patterned papers. It is a great way to use up some scraps as we all have them. I pulled out some of my patterned papers and most were not enough to do the long strips so I cut them down to squares. I turned mine on an angle and added my sentiment strips to the top rather than the bottom as Twila had on her cards. I finished mine off with some texture once I pieced the cards together.

Key to My Heart
Today's challenge on SCS is called Key to My Heart. The key to my heart is my nieces and nephews. I lived away from them for
10 years and recently moved back and love having them over.
My 10 year old niece came over last Sunday and helped me create more Valentine cards for her to give to classmates. She loved using the Big Shot to do some fun textured BGs and loved playing in the sequins to add some sparkle to the cards. We layered the papers then added the Green Duck embellishment and some sequins and ribbon.
Thank you for looking at the cards my niece helped me create.
Check out my exciting news above on these fantastic Green Duck Embellishments!!!

Black Beauty
Today's super fun Ways To Use It challenge we are making our own stamps.WT618 - Make a Stamp
So my barbed wire came out great and worked like a charm and I got three great stamps out of it. I was going to do the entire panel and a setting sun BG but I had to set it aside for a bit. When I got back to it I found that one of my sweet fur babies had taken off with it. One might think with the bright green foam I used I could find where they hid it but I have looked high and low and that stamp is no where to be found. So I used part of it in the upper left corner and have another piece left over for another card. My girls love to play with foam. Just goes to show why I have to keep my craft room closed. LOL!
Die cut barbed wire on foam and stamped with Versamark on white and heat embossed with copper. Added a sunset color by sponging yellow, coral, light blue, dark blue and purple to the barbed wire panel. Embossed the white panel with stars. Stamped the horse and colored with copics then mounted on dimensionals on the black. Finished off with some twine and a button.
Horse Stamp used is Inkadinkado. Darcie Star Embossing folder used on the panel.
Copics used: C1, C3, C5, C7, G12 & G14

Valentine Lions
Today's featured stamper is Pam aka wearestampers. She has a fantastic gallery. I found this wonderful card: HERE.
My 10 year old niece came over after she saw my SC card this week and helped me create more Valentine cards for her to give to class mates. We used the BG of the FS card as a starting point for this lion card on the left. We layered the papers then added the Green Duck embellishment and some gems. She liked the DP paper and created the other lion card finishing that one off with sequins.
Thank you for looking at my 10 year old nieces cards.

Lost Pets
Great inspiration today on SCS of I don't wear dresses. I found this very stunning DRESS.
I loved the stark black embroidery on the white dress. Using the Spellbinders cat and dog dies as they look so whimsical like the dress I placed them on white CS. Added gems to the eyes and stamped a sympathy pet stamp. I used a stitched border and mounted them on black CS.

Hexi Hello
I used a hexagon die cut to die cut out for the sentiment. Then used it
to die cut the DP. Added the sentiment and some dash marks around the
sentiment and finished off with some punched red flowers filled with
liquid pearls.

WT617 - Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue
Something old - The die cut flowers are always on my desk I use up old scraps of paper and have tons of these from years ago, die cut leaves I used an old scrap of left over paper from about 2 years ago & Crystal Effects was one of my first purchases from SU about 20 years ago. I use it sparingly.
Something new - Prismacolor Pencils DH got them for me at Christmas
Something borrowed - The stamp from my Elisabeth (Shoe Girls Niece) She was given them by Jan (Precious Kitty) and I asked her if I could borrow them to play with them. I am sure she is going to come pick them up soon I might need to stamp a few off before sending it out the door.
Something blue... I LOVE BLUE! :)
Stamped the image and colored with Prismacolor Pencils. Added some Crystal Effects to the pearls. Die cut some flowers and added liquid pearls to the centers.

Pet Notes
I recently received these darling die cut cats and a friend that manages
a vet clinic asked me to make them some reminder cards for their cat
vet. These darling die cuts worked out great for their note cards.
Masked the top and bottom. Added yellow distress ink to the bottom and pink to the top. Stamped the sentiment and die cut the different kitties for the front of the card.
I sure hope she likes these.
