Soccer Birthday

WT1080 - World Children's Day

For this card, I used a fantastic die cut set from Spellbinders to create the shirt and soccer ball elements. I die cut the number 13 from silver mirror paper for a bold, celebratory touch, and popped both the birthday banner and soccer ball up on dimensionals to add depth. All the die cuts were layered over a leafy tree designer paper, which adds a fresh, outdoorsy feel that complements the sporty theme.

Thank You So Much Pup

SC1089 - this week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For this card, I trimmed several layers of designer paper to build the layout, creating a playful yet polished foundation. The top layer features an adorable Hunkydory dog image that adds charm and personality. I popped up the “thank you” sentiment on dimensionals for added depth and finished the card with a few scattered gems for a touch of sparkle.

This will be another of my pet donation cards.

Thank You

CAS873 - What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for so many things, and a large Thank You card felt like the perfect way to express that for the challenge.

I used a Spellbinders die cut, first cutting it from black cardstock and then from white to create two distinct cards. For the word "You," I layered three white die cuts and topped them with one cut from silver glitter paper to give it extra dimension and sparkle.

FS980 - this week's featured stamper Linda, is better known as Lindam530 - INSPIRATION

I adapted the theme into a dog card so it could be included with my pet donations. Using Tim Holtz images, I colored them with Copics and then cut them out with the coordinating dies. To finish the design, I added a plaid banner and layered it over coordinating designer paper for a cohesive look.

The card was finished with the "Thanks" sentiment.

North Pole News

IC1041 - Rubylane - INSPIRATION

For my card, I was inspired by the adorable Santa Cup. I pulled out this cute Spellbinders Santa die cut and cut the layers adding glitter to the top.

The die cut was layered on a red oval then layered on the North Pole News designer paper.

The card was finished with several stacked snowflakes with the top layer also out of the same glitter paper as was used on Santa's top.

Cheers for Valentine's Day

F4A821 - For the Boys

MIX668 - Highlights

For my card, I used a fabulous die cut set from Spellbinders. I cut the individual pieces, sponged the drink for added depth, and layered everything together. The arrow is die cut from gold glitter paper, and I repurposed the negative space as one of the background layers to add extra sparkle. The drink glass is positioned over a half doily for a touch of texture and elegance.

To accent the hearts, I added white highlights using a gel pen.

The sentiment is stamped in red ink and popped up on dimensionals for added dimension and focus.

Scrappy Birthday Flower

WT1079 - Old and Dusty

For my card, I reached into a bin filled with premade flowers, brads, gems, and other fun embellishments, many of which I purchased years ago when Archivers was still around. These were some of my very first cardmaking supplies, and it was a joy to revisit them.

I layered several designer papers with white matting to build the layout, then finished it off with a flower embellishment secured by a green brad at the center.

To complete the card, I added a birthday sentiment popped up on dimensionals for a touch of depth.

Magical Castle Story

SC1088 - this week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

For my card, I combined two different Spellbinders die cuts to create a layered book scene, then added a die cut dragon from Karen Burniston to bring the story to life.

The scene is set atop designer paper that resembles marble tile, because, of course, castles are full of marble!

To finish it off, I added a birthday sentiment to complete the magical look.

Moonlit Glow

CAS872 - Glow of the Autumn Moon

For my card, I sponged a yellow moon glow using Distress Oxide ink, then blended blue around it to create a soft night sky effect. Once the background was complete, I stamped a Stampin' Up image over the panel.

The panel was trimmed down, layered onto black cardstock, and popped up on dimensionals for added depth.

To finish, I heat embossed the sentiment in silver embossing powder for a touch of shine.

FS979 - This week's Featured Stamper is ValerieKaye - INSPIRATION

For this card, I was inspired by the super cute boat and reached for the Prima Marketing boat stamp. I stamped the image and colored it with Copics, then added a Congratulations sentiment beneath it.

To build the layout, I trimmed coordinating designer papers that echoed the colors used on the boat and popped the boat image up on dimensionals for added depth.

Elf Crossing

USEIT2025 - ephemera

I was inspired by the elf on the shelf. I had been holding onto this ephemera in my tote for quite some time, and when I saw the elf, it sparked the perfect opportunity to finally use it.

I pulled out my Christmas papers, built the layout, and layered in the ephemera to bring the design together.

To finish the card, I popped up the sentiment with dimensionals and added a scattering of sequins for a festive touch.

Thank You Pie

F4A820 - Food/Recipes/Cooking

USEIT2025 - Star Button (From my tote)

For this card, I used the delightful Papertrey Ink pie die set to cut out the pie pieces. I added sponging, white highlights, and a touch of Stickles to give the pie depth and dimension.

To build the background, I layered a few coordinating designer papers and tucked a rickrack trim between the top and bottom panels for added texture. The pie was then popped up on dimensionals to bring it forward.

I finished the card with a thank you banner and a star button from my stash to complete the look.

Party Hat

WT1078 - Show Off Your Hats

For this card, I used a fun birthday hat die cut from Honey Bee Stamps and assembled all the layers. Once the hat was complete, I placed it on a birthday-embossed panel and added a few extra layers for more interest.

To finish the design, I decorated the party hat with gems, scattered a few candy dots around the card, and popped up the birthday sentiment on dimensionals for added dimension.

SC1087 - this week's sketch on splitcoastampers.com

For this card, I used a fun love-themed party paper to create the sketch layout. I layered it on white cardstock and embossed it with hearts for added texture.

I finished the card with a birthday sentiment to complete the look.

Congratulations Scene

CAS871 - Daylight Savings Time Ends

For this card, I started with a black card base. I cut a rectangular panel and sponged it with shades of yellow and orange to create a glowing sun scene. I then stamped the tree image from Stampin’ Up and finished the panel with a “Congratulations” sentiment.

25th Anniversary

FS978 - this week's incredibly talented Featured Stamper is Maria aka maria031767. I found this INSPIRATION.

For my card, I pulled out some silver mirror paper and die cut the leaf frame, layering it over a matching silver mirror background.

Next, I die cut the sentiment layers, first from silver and then from white, stacking them together and popping both up with dimensionals for added depth.

To finish the card, I added the large a"25" die cut from silver mirror paper, also raised with dimensionals and a silver bow.

This card was definitely tricky to photograph with all that shine, but in person, it turned out beautifully.

Black and Gold Birthday

IC1039 - GEC Designs - INSPIRATION

For my card, I was inspired by the striking black and gold palette from the challenge. I selected coordinating papers in those tones and created the layout using a stitched curved die, layering with gold glitter paper to add a touch of sparkle and elegance.

To finish the design, I die cut a "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the same glitter paper and placed it atop the black and gold music-themed background, letting the shimmer play off the rhythmic pattern beneath.
