For this card, I used a fabulous stencil from Waffle Flower, blending pink Distress Oxide inks before cutting it out with the coordinating die to create the love potion bottle.

I added a tag and ribbon to the top of the bottle and finished the design with a few scattered pink heart stickers for a sweet touch.

Birthday Pup

SC1086 - this week's sketch on splitcoaststampers.com

CC1076 - TIMID TIGER, DAFFODIL DELIGHT, CAJUN CRAZE

For this card, I used an adorable image from Hunkydory that looks like he’s peeking out of torn paper. To mirror that effect, I cut a circle from white cardstock and tore the edges so he could peek through the top layer.

On the top layer, I hand-drew the lines and then layered everything over some fun designer papers for added interest.

The card was finished with a birthday sentiment, popped up on dimensionals for extra dimension.

Bunny Thank You

IC1038 - Green Row - INSPIRATION

I was instantly drawn to the cheerful yellow plaid on the pillows, which inspired the base layer of my card. To build on that sunny palette, I added coordinating yellow designer paper featuring soft floral accents that felt like a perfect match for the sweet Hunkydory bunny image. Each layer is matted in crisp white to keep the look fresh and clean, with the bunny also framed on white cardstock for added cohesion.

The “thank you” sentiment is stamped, punched with Stampin Up punches, and popped up on dimensionals for a touch of depth. To finish, I added a few white candy dots for a simple, playful embellishment.

F4A818 - Collage style

For my card, I created a festive collage using a mix of scrappy Christmas papers for the base, such a fun way to use up leftover bits! Once the collage was complete, I mounted it onto gold mirror cardstock for a touch of shine.

Next, I stamped this playful Whimsy Stamps image and colored it with Copics. I trimmed the sentiment into separate pieces and layered both the image and sentiment onto more gold mirror cardstock. To finish it off, I added several candy dots for a pop of dimension and whimsy.

Welcome Baby

WT1076 - Feature Moon and Stars

For this card, I used a moon-and-stars patterned paper that I purchased when my son was little as the base layer. I added a few coordinating designer paper layers and created a circular focal point featuring a baby onesie die cut from Papertrey Ink, popped up on dimensionals for added interest.

To finish the design, I layered the “welcome” sentiment die cut several times for dimension and topped it with gold mirror cardstock. A few scattered gold sequins and a blue ribbon complete the card with a touch of sparkle and charm.

To finish the design, I added a birthday sentiment, also popped up on dimensionals, to tie the scene together.

80th Birthday

FS976 - Karen, is better known around here as ksenzak1. Here is my INSPIRATION.

For this birthday card, I used the Honey Bee Stamps Coneflowers die to create two layered flowers, adding extra sponging to each petal for depth and warmth.

They are arranged on a soft plaid background, framing the dimensional “80” die cut, which was stacked multiple times for added impact.

To finish the design, I scattered a few stars to echo the pink tones in the plaid and added a birthday banner popped up on dimensionals.

Birthday Butterfly

IC1037 - Natural Life & Pinterest - INSPIRATION

For this card, I used a beautiful, patterned paper my husband picked up from Michaels and let it take center stage. To highlight the design, I brushed Wink of Stella over the butterflies for a touch of sparkle.

I finished the card with a birthday sentiment popped up on dimensionals to add depth. Tucked under the popped-up sentiment is gold thread to add just a bit more sparkle and interest to the card.

Masculine Stitched Card

 F4A817 - Baker's Twine or Embroidery Floss

I finally used up the bundle of brown embroidery floss that had been hanging on the back of my craft chair, gifted by my MIL from a friend’s stash-clearing spree, and I’m so glad it found its purpose on this card.

For the design, I die cut the panel using a Spellbinders die and stitched it with the brown variegated floss. It’s layered onto coordinating brown cardstock, and I finished it off with a birthday banner popped up on dimensionals.

I think this makes a great masculine card, and I’m genuinely thrilled to have that floss off my chair and onto something meaningful!

For this card, I used a beautiful die cut from Honey Bee Stamps featuring the July Flower. I cut all the layers, adding soft sponging to the white elements and green shading to the leaves for depth and dimension.

I layered the finished flower over coordinating designer paper, then added a birthday sentiment popped up on dimensionals. A few scattered candy dots complete the design with a playful touch.

Poppy Thinking of You

MMTPT899 - Naturally Caring

I had a stack of square scraps on my desk and decided to challenge myself to use what was already in front of me. These three pieces caught my eye—they coordinated beautifully, so I layered them with a touch of gold matting for a bit of elegance. I arranged the layout over a soft green designer paper that echoed the tones in the scraps.

To finish the card, I added a “Thinking of You” sentiment, popped up on dimensionals for a little lift, and tucked in a few green gems for just the right amount of sparkle.

BOO

CAS868 - Halloween

For this card, I used a pumpkin die cut from Sizzix and layered the pieces together. I sponged green ink onto the bottom corner of the card base for added depth. To create the sentiment, I die cut the letters B and O from black cardstock, using the pumpkin as the second “O” to spell out BOO. A ghost die cut peeks out from the letter “O,” and I finished the design with a few green candy dots for a playful touch.

Mothers Day Poppies

FS975 - This week's featured stamper is Carrie3427. I found this INSPIRATION.

I was drawn to the whimsical feel of the flowers, so I pulled out a stencil from The Ton. Using several Distress Oxide inks, I blended color through the stencil and then added black Stickles to the flower centers for extra detail.

The layout provided the perfect space to showcase this Happy Mother’s Day sentiment from Heartfelt Creations.

Wedded Bliss

IC1036 - Selfridges - Inspiration

I was inspired by the two swans on the sweater and pulled out this beautiful swan image, a retired stamp from Heartfelt Creations. The image was stamped, colored with Copics, and then die cut. I also stamped and colored the lilies, shaped them, added stamens to the centers, and finished them with a touch of Stickles for sparkle.

Behind the dimensional lilies, I tucked two additional stamped lily images, also colored with Copics, to add depth and fullness.

All of the elements were arranged within the shaped gate die cuts and layered onto purple cardstock for a rich backdrop.

This card is headed to my son and his fiancée, who will be married soon. Since she loves ducks, I thought this swan image would be a sweet nod to her love of them.

Gothic Wedding

F4A816 - Fabric

For my card, I used black lace beneath the embossed layer to incorporate fabric into the design.

I added torn and curled edges to the embossed layer for texture, then adhered it to a black card base with the lace peeking out from underneath.

Next, I stamped Heartfelt Creations flowers and leaves onto black cardstock using Versamark ink, then heat embossed them in black for a subtle, dimensional effect. After cutting and shaping the layers, I assembled them to create depth and movement.

To finish the card, I added a silver "Best Wishes" tag.

This card is headed to my son and his fiancée, who are getting married soon. They both love gothic style and have asked guests to dress as if attending a funeral—how delightfully dramatic! I adore their sense of fun and feel this card suits them perfectly.

Thank you so much for stopping by to see my card today. I truly appreciate your kind comments. If you leave me a note, I’d love to visit your blog in return.

I then stamped the flowers and sponged the colors, layered adding glitter to the edges and finished with prills in the center.

The 80 was die cut several times in white then finished with gold glitter paper on top and the birthday sentiment was popped up on dimensionals.

FS974 - this week's incredibly talented featured stamper is Deb aka debmoloughney. I found this INSPIRATION.

For this card, I drew inspiration from the beautiful all-over floral design on Deb's card. Instead of stamping, I chose a floral designer paper as my focal point and layered it onto a crisp white card base. While digging through my scrap drawer, I came across a white wavy strip that fit perfectly along the bottom, just the right spot to stamp the thank you sentiment. To finish, I added a few scattered candy dots for a simple yet cheerful touch.

Wishing You a Merry Christmas

IC1035 - Craftsy Hacks & Pinterest - INSPIRATION

The adorable snowman that inspired this card was too cute to resist, so I pulled out a playful snowman image and sentiment from Stampin’ Up. I colored the image using Copic markers to bring it to life with soft, wintry tones.

Once the coloring was complete, I cut the layers to build the card. For the background, I used a snowflake-patterned napkin adhered to cardstock—adding texture and a frosty feel.

To finish the card, I scattered a few candy dots to echo the colors in the napkin layer and tie the whole design together.

WT1073 - Bring on Fall

I began this card using the napkin technique, choosing a beautiful leafy napkin as the base to set a soft, organic tone. Then I reached for an adorable die cut set from Spellbinders and cut the pieces using a mix of paper scraps, adding texture and variety. Once assembled, the die cuts were layered over the napkin background to bring the design to life.

To finish the card, I added a birthday sentiment, popped up on dimensionals for a bit of lift and emphasis.

For this card, I created the background using a blend of several Distress Oxide inks. Once the layers were built up, I lightly sprayed the surface with water and blotted it with a paper towel to lift some of the ink—creating a soft, starry night effect.

With the background complete, I added the silhouette die cut from Gina Marie Designs of Santa and the boy, placing the stamped sentiment just below to anchor the scene. To finish the card, I scattered a few gems for a touch of sparkle.
