CAS418 - Think Spring is today's challenge on SCS.
This image is a RAK from a friend so I am not sure of the stamp company.
I colored it with copics, trimmed it down so a bit of the flowers hang
over the edge. Liquid pearls were added to the centers and finished off
with pearls. The image is popped up on dimensionals and the edge of the
card was scored.

FS525 - Karen, better known as Redbugdriver, is the newest Featured
Stamper! Congratulations Karen!!! I loved going through your amazing
gallery. I found this beautiful CAS GEM.
I used the Leaning tower of Pisa rather than a lighthouse and rather than a strip of paper I used a stamp. I also added pearls. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is an embellishment from Green Duck. I added stickles to it to give it shine and popped it on dimensionals as Karen added dimensionals to her lighthouse.

Enjoy the World
Dribbble is our inspiration site this week and I found this wonderful IMAGE.
I love the collage of world images and the large world in the BG. I used a Tim Holtz die cut to cut the world and layered it on a DP. Then using some fun Green Duck embellishments from their new travel set I placed them around the world. I finished it off with the Tim Holtz travel word die cuts with the words Enjoy the World.

Floral Garden
The super fun challenge for Free for All is to use something in your garden. I have flowers and sunshine in my garden.
I added some sunshine and flowers for my garden items to my Green Duck embellishment. I love these little embellishments they make really fast cards. The sunshine is sprayed with red, orange and yellow through the Tim Holtz sun rays stencil. Then the cloud and the green duck embellishment are popped up on dimensionals. The hills are die cut with a stitched border and then I finished off with some flowers and liquid pearls.

WT624 - It's My Favorite
I was honored to be the challenge hostess for the Ways to Use it and I used the theme It's My Favorite to use a favorite stamp in your collection.
I am always joking with my DH if the house catches fire to grab stamps. I love so many. If I had to narrow it down to my favorite, I love this little Santa hat. I have no idea where i got it and who makes it. It is from 1995 and there is no company name on the stamp. I have collected many stamps and my HFC stamps and my Christmas stamps are among my favorites but this little Santa hat is at the top of that list of favorites.
Stamped the hat on the CS, then stamped on another CS. added distress inks and splattered water. Colored the second Santa hat and added dimensionals and the glitter snow. Finished off with the large sentiment and sequins.

CAS417 - Love Chocolate
I knew as soon as I saw the challenge today I was going to use this image. My aunt has asked me to make her a set of 12 cards for next year for her to give to her husband, one for each month. This will be his Valentine Card. :) Good thing he does not visit my SCS page.
Stamped the image and colored with copics. Stamped the sentiment and punched it out with a scalloped heart. Mounted the sentiment on dimensionals. Added a couple layers behind the image and added some white gel pen for highlights. Finished the card off with some ribbon my mom picked up for me.
Copics used: C0, C2, R20, R22, R24, R32, R37, R39, E000, E29, E33, E35 & E39

Mexican Love
Today's Inspiration challenge on SCS - Details, Ribbons, Bows. I found these two images that really were quite beautiful: Image 1 & Image 2.
I loved the colors in the first image and did similar colors on my card. The second image with the lacy bow made me think of this old lacy paper ribbon I have had forever and needed to use up. I glued down strips on a craft paper and had enough to cover the top. Then I embossed the brown bottom portion and trimmed the two edges with a fancy twine and finished off the twine with pearls. I added a strip of pearls under the focal and used some of my stash of die cuts for the sentiment. For the focal it is two layers of spellbinders die cuts and two of the new travel embellishmtnes from Green Duck. I finished off the card with another fun die cut in the upper right corner and a teal ribbon to match the teal in the Mayan Ruin image.
