IC617 - the wonderful Beau-Coup where I found this Image.

I received the coffee cup and sentiment from Jan (Precious Kitty). I colored the coffee cup with pencils and cut down the sentiment. The stripped paper came from an old gift card that a friend of mine challenged me to use on my cards. Well every year for Christmas I make a card with a strip from the strips of glittery paper and send them to her. This will be her 2017 Christmas card.

Week of 9/10/17

IC615 - an incredible Pintrist board My New House Idea. I found this Image. I needed a masculine birthday card and the pool table was a perfect inspiration for a masculine card.

The image on my card is my own drawing. I hand drew this about a year ago and scanned it to my computer so I could print it out to reuse it for cards. The number is a stamp from a set of numbers so I can change it out for any pool ball. Colored the image with copics and added the sentiment on dimensionals. Finished the card off with Nuvo drops in the corner.

This wonderful lighthouse image was sent to me in a Teapot challenge. I colored it with copics and die cut it with an oval stitched die cut from ODBD. The wave die cuts are from Heartfelt Creations and I left them in the die cut and sponged the blue.

They send cards to their clients who lose pets.Quick card die cut the paper, layered, stamped the sentiment and the paw print is a sticker. These friends are so giving of their community donating time and efforts to many pet organizations and this is my way of giving to them and their efforts.

WT652 - Oldie but Goodie

CCC17SEP - trees, Christmas or just snowy trees, and outdoor scenes

I have had this stamp set since 2002 and never used this image on a card - GASP! I could never get a good impression of the image with all the detail until I took it off the block and put it in my Misti. I love how it looks and am so thrilled I did not give up on it and give it away. I had a ton of fun coloring all the detail to bring this to life.

Once colored I added some coordinating Christmas DP and embossed the top finished off with ribbon.

I found THIS journal.

Used painters tape to tape off a section on the cards. Then used distress inks to add the colors in the strips. Die cut some fun dogs and cats in black.

WT651 - ways to use threes or thirds

Stamped this super cute Penny Black image and colored with copics. Punched out the balloons and the numbers 3 and 0 from gold DP. Stamped the birthday sentiment and popped it on dimensionals. The image is cut in a square and fussy cut around the flowers.

I have a ton of black die cut circles on my desk and as a fun way to use them I cut one in half and attached them to the photo to make it look like they are holding the photo to the card. The balloons are on dimensionals and bakers twine wrapped around them.

This card is for my nephew. He and his daughter share a birthday. I will make her a card just for her but we are always joking with my nephew that his birthday is no longer about him it is about her which is why I thought this picture was perfect for his card and I colored one of the balloons pink for her. He will love this and the symbolism in the card.
