Welcome Pup!

Happy 2017!!!! I am excited to start my 2017 Cards. I hope you see a card or two that you like. Please enjoy my creativity and craft. Each individual card I create could take 2 to 3 hours to create working on the right layout, images, coloring, die cutting and inspiration and usually will be inspired by a challenge or someone requesting a card or set of cards.
This card is for the Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. I loved the layout of the Featured Stamper card I found and kept is fairly close to the layout and rather than a summer theme changed it to a pet theme for a friend who got a new pup. Added hearts in place of flip flops. Finished off with some white gel pen dash marks and added a ribbon.

Red & White Christmas

I got way behind in Christmas cards for 2016 so I am going to work on 2017 cards now and hopefully not get behind.

Using the candy cane Green Duck Embellishment of the red and white candy cane I die cut the large snowflake and mounted on dimensionals. Added a heat embossed white sentiment and finished off with some snowflakes and sequins.

Fishing Guy

Funny story about this card. I always show my DH and my little guy my cards when I get done and let them know the challenge. They both looked at me and said I colored the shirt the wrong color and I should have used flesh tones to show the other moon. Oh MEN!!! LOL!!!

Stamped the image and colored with copics. Masked the image and a circle and sponged in the sky to give a night time look to my fisherman.

Copics used: C0, C1, C3, C5, C7, E00, E31, E33, E35,  B000, B01, B02, B21, B23, B24, R24, R32, R37, R39, G12, G14, G17 & Y08

Quilted Hello

My wonderful MIL is a quilter. She was out at Thanksgiving and I mentioned I needed a new table runner and she came back at Christmas with a perfect table runner for me based on what I needed. She has made over 8 quilts for my home and I love everyone of them. When she mentioned she needed a gift for a fellow quilter I said how about a few quilt cards. So to the craft cave I went yesterday and then when I saw today's challenge I knew I could swipe one of the BG's I started for today's teapot challenge. Not to worry, I am still making her several for her friend.

Die cut the quilt frame and switched out the blocks for white blocks. Stamped the Heartfelt Creations flower and colored with copics. Popped the flower on dimensionals and added some punched branches. Finished off with some sequins and the sentiment.

Copics used: BV000, BV11, BV13, BV17, G12, G14, G17 and G85.

Quilted Hello

Here comes Santa Claus

I used different snowy DP and lined the BG sponging the edges of each layer. I tore the white snowbank and sponged it. Using this fun sleigh embellishment from Green Duck Designs I put it up on dimensionals and stamped the sentiment.

Cat Notes

Today's fun inspiration challenge on SCS has a great dress that inspired this fun card.

Stamped the image, masked if off. Used aqua distress ink on the left and blue on the right as the dress has both colors. Then splattered yellow and black acrylic paint. I rubbed it on his tail as if to show where he got in the paint. Once he was unmasked I colored him with some additional brown distress ink and stamped the sentiment.
