St Patricks Day

CAS785 - Monochromatic Green Card

MMTPT815 - Wee Bit Irish

WT991 - Stitching

For my card, I pulled out my green scrap drawer of papers and found a couple of great green scraps that worked for a card base front. I loved the look of the blocked colors and ran with it adding some stitching to the edges of the layers.

Next, I added this great sentiment from DRS Designs stamped in green on the bottom piece.

USEIT2024 - Bow Tie

For my card, I used this cute Pink and Main Lucky Charm image and colored it up with copics. I then cut the paper layers and added a few scrap banners. I found this cute bow in my tote of items and added it to the banners.

The card was finished with a few scattered green leaves and sequins.

For my card, I pulled out this great stamp from DRS Designs and heat embossed it in glitter gold on pale green card stock. I then added a darker green copic over it.

For Each Petal...

CAS730 - Add a Bow

For my card I used this super adorable image from DRS Designs. It already has a bow tie on him and is perfect for the challenge. I stamped the image and a portion of a sentiment under the image.

I colored the image up with copics then die cut it with a stitched rectangle and popped the panel up on dimensionals.

CAS680 - metallic

This card was fun to make. I stamped the sentiment then sponged some green clovers. I then put two clovers over the sentiment while in my misti and stamped a portion of the sentiment over the clovers and popped those up on dimensionals.

Finished the card off with a few metallic sequins and layered on some gold metallic designer paper.

St Patrick's Day

IC797 - Rug Savings where I found this beautiful Rug

I used the green and white to create another St Patrick's Day card. For the base I heat embossed several shamrocks. Then I used the center square to add the sentiment and used copic markers to color the images.

I finished with some punched gold paper scraps.

Week of 3/6/21 Cards

IC796 - Freepik where I found this great Image

I pulled out my new DRS Designs shamrock of shamrocks image and created my BG on the green card base white heat embossing it.

I then stamped the shamrock and the sentiment on white and colored it with copics. I die cut the panel and punched some gold mirror card stock to finish off the card.

F4A576 - Flowers

I am starting to work on Mother's Day cards and today's challenge is perfect to get me started on them.

I stamped several flowers and leaves and sponged on the additional color.

I die cut the base and the lace layer and stamped the sentiment and die cut that popping it on dimensionals.

I finished with stickles and prills.

WT834 - Stencils

I started this card base with sponging red on the top portion of the card. I then used an alphabet stencil and blue paper glaze to add the letters.

Next I stamped the sentiment, die cut the numbers and mortar and popped on dimensionals.

I finished with a piece or red ribbon on the sentiment banner.

I am kicking it in to high gear for the class of 2021 graduates. If you know anyone graduating in 2021, please consider brightening their day with a card. Seniors are really having a hard time this year because they have lost out on so much. My son's school has already cancelled prom and they did not have one last year. So if you have it in your heart consider brightening their day to let them know you care even if it is just a card.

USEIT2021 - Heartfelt Creations card kit

I am trying to use my old Heartfelt Creations kits to clear off the shelf that they have been stored on and today's color challenge is perfect for this one.

I used copics to color the images and shaped them.

I layered the images and popped some up on dimensionals. Finished off with stickles.

MMTPT658 - Tic Tac Toe (I used the top row)

I needed to get a birthday card made and the challenge for the Teapot Recepient was perfect to make a couple of the same card to send one and use one so I made 2.

I used white gel medium through a stencil for the BG. Then I due cut the layer and stamped the sentiment and cut the butterflies and sentiment and added to the card base.

CAS627 - In Like A Lion - use a lion (or cat if you need to)

USEIT2021 - Lion Patch

I needed to get this lion patch used up from my tote and he is perfect for the challenge.

I cut the layers, hot glued the lion on toe layer and added some fabric that was in my stash for a bow. I finished with the Nuvo Drops.

FS734 - this weeks incredibly talented featured stamper is Gem E.S. aka Gem35. Her gallery will blow you away with so much amazing inspiration. I found this gorgeous CARD

USEIT2021 - Nativity image

CCC21JUL - Peace

When I saw Gem's gallery I fell in love with her Nativity card. I had this cute nativity image (already colored) in my stack of images to get used up. It was sent to me from Jan (Precious Kitty - thank you Jan).

I used wood paper rather than a pierced BG and I layered it on black CS.

Lucky Me

FS526 - This week's Featured Stamper is
Rebeccaof aka Lyn Tomlin. I found this fantastic Card. It is a great way to use up some of our scraps that we all have from cutting down card bases.

I am making my aunt 12 cards fro her to give to her DH next year and she asked for a St Patricks card and Lyn's gallery was a great place to find the perfect inspiration.

I added a green layer behind the rainbow colors, used a heart EF rather than a dot folder, used a different stamp and added sequins rather than the clover.

Copics used: C3, C5, C7, E00, E02, E57, Y02, G14 & G16
