CAS892 - Create using Colored Pencil

For today’s card, I pulled out this great retired Impression Obsession image and stamped it on kraft cardstock. I colored the image with pencils and fussy cut the paws for added dimension.

The paws are popped up on dimensionals over a green and white checkered designer paper, giving the layout a playful lift. The card is finished with a Congratulations sentiment to complete the design.

This will be another of my pet donation cards.

SC1107 - a splitcoaststampers.com sketch

For today’s card, I pulled out more pawprint paper and used it to build the layout, adding black cardstock to give the layers extra pop. I then die cut the Hunkydory image, layered it on black, and set it in place as the focal point.

The card is finished with a Congratulations sentiment popped up on dimensionals and a few hearts to echo the green in the pawprints.

This will be another of my pet donation cards.

F4A838 - 3 of a Kind

For my card, I reached for this adorable teacup from Altenew. I stamped it on white cardstock, colored it with Copics, added the sentiment beneath the cup, and die cut the panel.

To build the background, I pulled out a paper pack I am working to use up this year and layered several coordinating patterns. Each piece is matted on black cardstock to give the layers crisp definition.

I finished the card with three pink hearts. The hearts, along with the three flowers on the designer paper, create my three‑of‑a‑kind element for the challenge.

For my card, I reached for my trusty Hunkydory dog images and selected this adorable beagle, trimming it out and layering it on a brown mat.

I added two coordinating dog‑themed designer papers, each with its own brown mat to keep the layers cohesive. A few scattered white hearts add a soft finishing touch, and the Congratulations sentiment is popped up on dimensionals for a little lift.

This will be another of my pet donation cards.

CAS887 - Large Sentiment Stamp

For my card, I pulled out one of my favorite dog die cuts and cut it from black cardstock. I used the Baker's Twine technique by layering the twine behind the negative space of the dog to create texture and contrast.

The card was finished with a large Congratulations sentiment from Stampin Up, white heat embossed beneath the focal image.

This will be another of my pet donation cards.

FS987 - This week's incredibly talented Featured Stamper is Lori Smith aka mybugandi45. I found this INSPIRATION.

The rainbow of colors in Lori's inspiration immediately reminded me of this gorgeous Whimsy Stamps paper. I had a small leftover panel from a previous project, so I trimmed it into narrow strips and framed each one with black cardstock for crisp definition. The strips are arranged over a polka‑dot background, which is also framed in black before being adhered to the card base.

To finish the design, I added a popped‑up Congratulations sentiment and a scattering of sequins for a little celebratory sparkle.

WT1086 - New Beginnings

For this card, I created a design inspired by the New Beginnings challenge, using a new die cut to craft a playful dog theme. The bone and bow pieces were cut, then enhanced with sponging and white highlights to bring depth and detail. The bow was raised with dimensionals, adding extra interest to the layered elements.

The focal panel is set against paw print paper, while the "Congratulations" sentiment was die cut and layered in red cardstock to provide a bold pop of color.

To finish, I added a few gold sequin hearts from my stash, giving the card a touch of sparkle and helping me use up some of those treasured embellishments.

FS979 - This week's Featured Stamper is ValerieKaye - INSPIRATION For this card, I was inspired by the super cute boat and reached for the Prima Marketing boat stamp. I stamped the image and colored it with Copics, then added a Congratulations sentiment beneath it. To build the layout, I trimmed coordinating designer papers that echoed the colors used on the boat and popped the boat image up on dimensionals for added depth. For this card, I started with a black card base. I cut a rectangular panel and sponged it with shades of yellow and orange to create a glowing sun scene. I then stamped the tree image from Stampin’ Up and finished the panel with a “Congratulations” sentiment.

FS972 - This week's very talented Featured Stamper Katherine, is better known around here as katherinerock. I found this INSPIRATION. For my card, I featured a large graduation cap die cut, crafted from black cardstock. I mounted it using dimensional adhesive to give it a pop of depth, with a grad cap-themed designer paper serving as the background. The CONGRATS sentiment was also die cut and placed on a white strip, which I layered over gold mirror cardstock for a touch of shine. FS950 - This week's very talented featured stamper Carol, is better known around here as momcgw. Her gallery is full of wonderful works of art. I found this INSPIRATION. USEIT2025 - paw print stickers For my card, I took inspiration from her 3 circles and moved them to the spine of the card. I added a few additional layers and added the sentiment popped up on dimensionals. The card was finished with 3 paw print stickers that I am trying to use up from my stash. USEIT2025 - Tassel

I am working ahead on graduation cards. My son will graduate this year from college. Time has flown by for us.

For this card, I used a great fun gold and added a square to the top for the graduation cap. The congratulations is popped up on dimensionals and that tassel was in my tote of items to use up.

IC997 - Kate Mcenroeny and Pinterest - INSPIRATION

I just fell in love with the inspiration, and it was perfect for me to create with my new die cut from Scrappy Boy Stamps. I die cut the hoodie in red and black and tucked a red and white baker's twine into the top, adding a couple of glue dots so the loops would stay. The pocket is popped up on dimensionals.

Next, I pulled out a couple of old Spellbinders die cut sets to die cut the numbers and letters for the hoodie.

Finally, I used the Divinity Design graduation cap, cutting it out of red glitter paper that my mom gave me, and the diploma is die cut using an older Impression Obsession die cut. I then used the dot from the graduation cap and added a yellow seal to the Impression Obsession diploma.

It is great when I can pull out the selection of die cuts to create a personalized card. My son will graduate from Ball State in May, and I incorporated items to personalize this for my mom to give to my son.

For my card, I used this great new die cut from My Favorite Things to create this reflective vest. I cut it out with yellow, black, pink, silver and white glitter paper and layered the pieces.

The pocket was finished with a celebratory sentiment.
