Thanks a Latte

CAS881 - National Hot Tea Day

For this card, I used a stamp gifted to me by my friend Jan (Precious Kitty): Tea Time Treats by Crafter’s Companion. The image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics. The sentiment is from Fiskars.

After the coloring was complete, I trimmed the panel, layered it on a black cardstock frame, and mounted it onto a white card base.

Thank you for stopping by to see my card today. Your thoughtful comments are always appreciated. If you leave a note, a visit to your blog will follow.

MMTPT858 - vintage plus either afternoon tea or local sightseeing

TLC1048 - Back Fold (5 Minute Card) adding this to the challenge as this card was the inspiration for the challenge

For this card, I used a really fun fold called 5 Minute Fun Fold. I added the fun vintage post card paper, layered on pink then used this cute Tea Time stamp and sentiment from Bo Bunny Tea Party set. The image is colored with copics.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card today. I appreciate the lovely comments. If you leave me a comment, I can stop by your blog for a visit.

Red Tea Party

I love the Teapot Tuesday challenge on SCS especially when we get to exchange with others as we get to see their stunning cards in real life. This challenge was to use a Red Teapot on our cards. Very carefully using the masking technique I added two images to this card and colored with copics. It is always fun to have new card crafters join in the fun so if you are wanting to see some of these great cards we exchange every month on the last Tuesday of the month. We hope you come join the fun!

Copics used: C1, C3, R20, R24, R32, RV21, RV34, E31, E33, E51, Y21 and B32.

Warms My Heart

My friend Jan (aka Precious Kitty) sent me a couple of these darling teapots to play with and I really loved playing with them. This card was created for a challenge on SCS to use three of something. For more details on that challenge you can view my card and find the corresponding challenge. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2709509?&cat=500&ppuser=400689

Teapot

I really loved the sketch this week and used it for the layout for this card. I used ribbon in place of the paper strip and used a doily for the circle and fun die cut for the larger square.

I distressed the edge and added some distress ink to the edge of the teapot. For the steam I did a quick quilling. Finished off with a bow and flowers and added stickles to the flowers.

You're Tea-riffic

Playing with this super cute teapot that my friend Jan (Precious Kitty) sent me, I outlined it in black. Then I used a fun banner on the top and stamped you're tea-riffic. Then I die cut my frame and mounted on dimensionals and mounted the teapot on dimensionals. I added bakers twine and a heart to show a tea bag. Stamped and die cut the leaves and flowers and shaped. Added the liquid pearls to the centers. I used a piece from the shards of green and turned it over to show the white side of the paper for the steam coming out of the teapot.

Thank you for looking.
