Oh my goodness the Dare to Get Dirty challenges are starting today on splitcoaststampers.com. It is open to all Fan Club members and there are some amazing prizes being given out. We hope you come join the fun.

DTGD22berlycece - You Deserve a "Metal" Use metallic features; e.g. embossing powder, foiling, clips

For this card I used a dictionary page for the base adding some distressing to the layers.

I then added the doily and the designer paper.

The large heart was die cut out of an old cardboard box and I pulled the first layer off then added the heart layers and the sentiment strip.

The daisy and the cluster of gems are old earrings my aunt gave me and they seemed perfect to add to the shabby chic feel of the card.

CAS699 - Garden

This card was super quick. I used a cover plate to add interest to the white card base. Next, I stamped the sentiment and die cut the banner popping it up on dimensionals.

I then used a bunch of scrap papers and die cut the flowers and leaves finishing the card with some white gems.

Teapot

MMTPT718 - Teapot or teacup

I used this cute Bo Bunny teapot and colored it up with copics. I grabbed some designer paper from my stack and realized that the edge of the paper was torn. This was some paper my MIL purchased from a craft store that is in town and will be closing soon. Well, I loved the distressed look so I distressed the other layers.

Next I added dome dimension to the image and found this half doily in a drawer and thought it was perfect to crumple up and add to my teapot. I finished with some flowers from my stash and found this cute charm and thought the sentiment was perfect.

The flowers were finished with a few gold pearls.

Thank You Girl!

Another card created with Heartfelt Creations flowers. I wanted to do shabby chic style and give this to my sister as she was really a huge help to me when I needed to box up my home for moving. This is totally my sister's style of a card when I think of what kind of card to make for her.

Teapot

I really loved the sketch this week and used it for the layout for this card. I used ribbon in place of the paper strip and used a doily for the circle and fun die cut for the larger square.

I distressed the edge and added some distress ink to the edge of the teapot. For the steam I did a quick quilling. Finished off with a bow and flowers and added stickles to the flowers.

Thank you for looking!
