Shall We Play a Game!!!!

I was the hostess for the WT640 challenge - The challenge was to Doodle It

I love this image. The computer screen that is visible is an open canvas for your card. You can color it or stamp something on it or in my case I doodled in it for today's challenge Doodle It! The image I doodled is from the computer game Portal. My son wanted me to create a card with that image and I thought well why not put it on the computer screen of this image.

Stamped the image and colored with pencils. Drew the Portal image on the computer screen. The metallic piece is from Sabrina. It is a tomato can and I thought it would be great to see with texture. Ran it through with an EF and layered behind the image.

Wowza Boy

This is a super fun challenge to smear versamark on the cards and emboss on the smeared versamark. So that I could use this image and create a sunlight I used bright yellow paper stamped the image then masked off to spear the versamark in a sun ray design.

Birthday Boy

I found this wonderful image from Redonkadoodles and this is totally my little guy. I colored it using the colors from the IC card as inspiration. I colored the hair to match my little guy's hair. Daily this is how you will see my little guy plugged in to his music. He also loves robotics so I added a couple of gears and the music note for him listening to his tunes.

Copics used: E00, E11, E13, E33, E37, E57, YR24, Y21, C0, C2, C4, C6, C8, B00, B14, B32, B34, R24, R29, R32 and R39.

Ride in to the Sun

Another great teen card...Using the stencil from Tim Holtz I sprayed yellow all over then a small amount of pink then finished off with some orange to create this sunshine. Then the image was stamped many times to get the silhouette really dark and finished off with a shimmery black emboss powder to have it really stand out on the card.

Masculine Sport Birthday

Teen boys can be a tough crowd to create cards but using fun images like skateboarders or any sport could help with a card for that group. This background came together nicely with spraying and using powders and adding some water to have them react together then putting cling wrap over the top to create the fun lines on the card base. I love the way the grunge background turned out and I am sure going to play with that again.
