Math Education

IC1020 - Aspen & Arlo - INSPIRATION

For my card, I die cut the count from Sizzix and layered it adding a graduation cap and glasses from other die cut sets.

The base layer was embossed with numbers and green ink was added then layered on gold mirror card stock and the Math Education sentiment banner popped up on dimensionals.

My inspiration brought me to bring out my Karren Burniston fireworks to die cut and add to the inside of the card.

Thank you for stopping by to check out my card today. I appreciate the lovely comments. If you leave me a comment, I can stop by your blog for a visit.

You Are One of a Kind

IC1013 - Art.com - INSPIRATION

The inspiration was perfect for me to use this great Spellbinders set to create my son's graduation card.

The base is stamped using The Ton's Congratulations stamp. I then cut down some small white card stock and die cut the playing card pieces.

Next, I die cut the person from the Spellbinders set and then used the Sizzix ghost die cut the cut wispy hair.

The congratulations was cut 2 times in white then once in gold and layered and the sentiment is foiled.

The card front is finished with a couple of other die cut playing card shapes and the layered heart.

For the inside, I used the Karen Burniston House of Cards and created the built-up playing cards.

Cardinal Graduation

IC960 - Daily Paintworks & Pinterest - INSPIRATION

F4A740 - Chirp! Chirp! (This is actually what the school says to graduates) :)

USEIT2024 - Tassel

I have to say I am very last minute making this card. My son's girlfriend graduates next week, and he asked for a cardinal pop-up card.

I used several Karen Burniston die cuts to create the pop-up cardinal and used a Spellbinders die cut to add the wings.

The graduation cap paper was a stencil used on red paper and I finished with the Spellbinders congratulations die cut out of gold mirror paper.

The card was finished with the closure and some red and white bakers' twine and I found the tassel in my tote of items to use up.

Here is a picture of the cardinal closed.

In the Navy

WT845 - clothing

My sweet nephew is graduating this year and he has already enlisted in the Navy. He ships out just before his 18th birthday. He and my son are the best of friends and I am going to miss him when he ships out.

I used the Karen Burniston pop up photo die cuts to create the collage. I also used the Heartfelt Creations pocket die so I could add a place for me to sign the card and add a note.

On the photos I used many of my nephew, his family, pictures of him with my son and the main picture is of him and I. I added a heart to our picture then I thought oh his mom would have my hiney if I don't add a heart to the one of the two of them so I added an heart to their picture too. LOL!

I can't wait to give this card to him. Oh and the embossed panel was a RAK from a teapot Tuesday and it is perfect for my nephew.

Pop Up Graduation

FS743 - This weeks incredibly talented Featured Stamper is Elizabeth aka beadsonthebrain. I found this wonderful Card

Well all who know me know I have 3 graduates this year that I am cranking out as many graduation cards as I can to fill all the orders for friends and family. As soon as I saw Elizabeth's card - yep I did another graduation card.

I did a belly band rather than the strip across the card then added an oval over the band.

I added DP rather than stamping the base layer and die cut congratulations for the top.

I needed the belly band because on the inside I did the Karen Burniston pop up ball and created a graduate complete with glasses to give it the look of my son.

My sister has 2 small boys and this will be a card from her because the boys will approve of this as a card for their favorite cousin.
