USEIT2019 - Wrapping paper

My MIL gave me a book of Asian wrapping paper and I am slowly working my way through it building up my thank you card stash. Today's FS reminded me that DP can make great quick cards so I grabbed another sheet of the wrapping paper and cut it down to make these quick cards.

Many Quick Thanks

IC727 - Ruby Mountain Paint Co where I found this Paint

I am in process of making 205 (yes you read that right) congratulations cards for my son's band. They gave me 6 days and I work a full time job. Panic has set in....

Yesterday I cut all the white bases, scored them and folded them, I also got all the black cut and embossed. Now in the picture you can see one with a gold paint that was added with a brayer and one with no gold. The one on the right is the proto card and the one on the left is a stepped up version that I wanted to put together to show them. I finished adding the individually cut, punched and crimped jabot this morning. Then I die cut the sentiment frame, heat embossed the sentiment and popped up on dimensionals.

Why the story of the two pictures on this post...well I am going to see if I can convince them that the one on the right with the doily is the way to go because it took an hour to do the one on the left. Pray I get these done by Thursday. Because I am gonna need it if they want the one on the left.

Congrats

  1. 205 cards in less than a week! EEEK. You'll be successful or you won't sleep. Love your cards this week. I know I commented on some of them on SCS. There are some great challenges. I can't believe you made your own paper. How cool is that. I haven't had any time for the tutorials, but I do love how yours turned out. Thanks for the inspiration.
