Week of 10/8/12 Part 2

It has been a super busy 2 weeks. I am now a Design Team member for a great friend that just started making stamps. She is really new in creating stamps so I hope you will take a peek at her Blog and check out her little store on Etsy. You can find her blog here: Precious Kitty Creations and her new Etsy store here: Precious Kitty Creations Etsy Shop.

This entire card is from scraps on my desk other than the base. The white circles are left over white scraps that I stamped the three shoes and punched. Mounted them on dimensionals. The top and bottom pieces are left over from cutting out images and I used two different pieces to get the opening.

The opening has 3 colors of papers that I very carefully cut to small strip pieces and individually glued each one after another in order. The 3 strips of colors are from trimming card layers and worked perfect for a focal on this card.

Used a brick stencil and rubbed gel medium through it. Once dry used 2 die cut Die-Namics flourishes and a couple die cut SU butterflies. Added the super sweet Unity sentiment heat embossed with white on black. That is on dimensional. Finished off with some pearls.

 Wishing Blessings

Stamped the Whipper Snapper image and colored with pencil and Gamsol. Cut the layers and embossed the stars. Popped the sentiment behind the image and put the image on dimensional.

Used my acrylic block to create the BG. Smashed the Pumpkin Kaleidoscope ink pad on the acrylic block and spritzed with water then smashed the paper in to the block to soak up the colors. Finished off with cutting it and mounting on dimensionals and some Jolee’s Boutique leaves.

This tree stamp was sent to me from a friend. We have no idea who makes this image but when I saw it I immediately thought of my sweet MIL. She is a quilter and owns a Christmas Tree farm. Well this is her and I just had to make a card with it. Stamped the image and used score lines around the tree. Colored the tree with pencils & gamsol. Finished off with some punches snowflakes and stickles. The sentiment is a sticker that I have had for many years.
